*THANK YOUs:

“I can't even begin to express the joy I receive from continuing to make music with and for the people I care about! To start, thank you God for giving me music as a way to express myself and connect with others. Thank you everyone who continues to support me and listen and share my music. You make all the difference. Thank you to everyone who helped inspire the songs on this project. Without you there would be no Show. Thank you to Fanaticus and Capital University for allowing me to use your facilities to record part of the project.

Thank you to all my family, extended family, and friends for running with me since before I could walk. I had a rough time preparing this work of music, but thanks to your love and support, it's finally complete.

If you took the time to read this, thank you, and if you take anything out of what I said, please remember this:

THEY SAY THE SHOW IS MINE, BUT REALLY THE SHOW IS YOURS.” - Jamil

Track Name: Welcome to the Club
Everything's all good, everything's alright. (ok)
Wake up, spit some verses. Yo imma say that's life. (ok)
Go and ask your friends. I bet they gon' say I'm nice. (ok)
Say that I'm truth 'cause you ain't ever told no lie. (ok)
Best believe we go by Young Kings. Best believe we spit fire, bruh.
Best believe I roll by the beach. Bars so hot we done dried it up.
Best believe I kill every beat. Every beat 'til my time is up.
Best believe that my flow's on point. Say a prayer for your tires, bruh.
Best believe that I'm so deep, so deep.
Young Kings we're in the spot.
You know me, know me. You got hands, go and get 'em up.
And my flow's good, so good. Get your hood to throw it up-
To no good, no good. Straight trouble, you know it's us.
'Cause I got beats, I got bars. I got God, I stay saved.
I put on these headphones, and deliever brainwaves.
Straight to your mainframe. Mess up your situation.
Said this the show. Make some noise, this is initiation, like...

Hey, hey. I noticed you've been tired of the same thing.
Yeah, I know you've had enough.
So welcome to the club, well welcome to the club.
Listen to The Show. Everybody turn it up like...

Season 2, it's season 2. Second time and we're coming strong.
Keep it real thoough. (The Jamil Show)
Change the channel, it's coming on.
Counting tracks that I'm running on. Had to do my stretches first.
Had to get my verses right. Had to give my best work.
I've been flexing my chest hurts.
Say it, don't spray it. I got the crease out of my dress shirt.
Half of these rappers act lame, like homie your legs work.
I'm just playing, do your thing like it's a common gesture.
Now what's my name, what's my name.
Please don't ever say Jamal!
It's Jamil: rhymes with real. I'm the one that's going off.
J-a-m-i-l: tell me what that spells.
I stole the whole show. I should go to jail like...
What's the deal: intro.
Y'all act like you ain't ever heard me do it like this, though.
Been fresh since Crisco. Still fresh like Crisco.
Find me at @thejamilshow! Like...

Hey, hey. I noticed you've been tired of the same thing.
Yeah, I know you've had enough.
So welcome to the club, well welcome to the club.
Listen to The Show. Everybody turn it up like...
Track Name: Young Kings x Fanaticus
[Jamil:]

I'm on. Let 'em know what it is right now.
Push forward, can't quit right now. Stay grinding 'til my light' out.
They doubt us, tell 'em pipe down. You'll never get in my head.
I'm eating my daily bread. It started when I was bred.
My goal has always been highest. They'll conquer and they'll divide us.
They'll say they love us, but fight us. These demons can't get inside us.
And yeah they want to get you. Nah, you cannot let them.
See, God is always beside you. He wants to see you heaven.
So we're pushing, keep pushing. Everybody has enemys.
Watching everything you do like they're measuring.
And you only get heat like anitfreeze.
If you let them cruise in like Penelope [Cruz].
If you want to give up, please remember me.
When I tell you these words: Yo, God is always at work

So hold on. Get ready to go on.
These words that I teach you haven't failed for no one.
So lace up your sneakers, and turn up your speakers.

'Cause we're about to get it, get it, get it.
Ain't nobody messing with it.

(Can't nobody hold us back, they can't hold us down.
They can't keep us trapped, tie us to the ground.
Told y'all people that we don't mess around.
When we turn it up, please don't turn us down.)

(Ooh. Let me see your hands up!)

[Fanaticus:]

Wake up, down and out. Hoping somebody sees me if I shout.
Crying out for the people around me.
To see what I see and collect the bounty.
Praying meditation keeps me ready.
But you can never really be truly ready.
Your eyes on the prize, on the ball, on the call.
They throw a curve ball, and you hit the wall.
Slump to the knees. You know I'm getting weak.
Keep my hands ready 'case they sneak attack through the trees.
Gun ready, my ammo in the tommy.
Machine Gun Kelly can't compete if he's around me.
Didn't find me, I hope they don't find me.
Can't cover up these tracks 'cause I'm grinding.
Got the gears turning, 'cause I'm burnin the track made for me.
Hot fire I'm blazing.
And even when I thought I couldn't do it,
You were there in my corner saying I'm grooving.
And even when they told me I couldn't,
My homie came through with the track, now I'm booming.
And even when them demons were fluent,
Invading my life, trying to take me off my current.
You were there, just assuring I was safe for the present.
Now my confidence back, and it all seems so certain.
When I was younger, I wasn't even a somebody to a nobody.
But everybody's never a copy.
I was told that I was never gonna make it.
And your homebody struggled with his life, but he couldn't take it.
Pretty jaded, but you know I never fake it.
Nah I wasn't worth saving.
'Til I got on my knees, and I screamed for change.
My momma came running, saying, "It'll all be okay".
My savior and my life support.
The other kids gunned me down, but she never pulled the cord.
In school, teachers said I was gonna shoot 'em up.
5'1 Tyrell? Nah, I let it beat me up.
But no Chris Brown when I say look at me now.
Another troubled kid who's now proud of his smile.
Music saved me, it can save you too.
Nas said the world is yours, man I thought you knew.

(Can't nobody hold us back, they can't hold us down.
They can't keep us trapped, tie us to the ground.
Told y'all people that we don't mess around.
When we turn it up, please don't turn us down.)

(Hands up, reach for the sky.
Hands up, get 'em up high.
Hands up, if you really feel alive.
Live it up, live it up!)
Track Name: Of Course
(I have enough heart for most of 'em.
As long as I got stuff from most of 'em, it's on.
Even when I was wrong, I got my point across.
They depicted me the boss, of course!)

You can catch me where I'm supposed to be.
I ain't in the gym, but best believe I'm flexing vocally.
Never smoking trees, but best believe I'm fresh as potpourri.
Asking God, "How long you wanna keep me out here locally?"
I been praying for ends (foreign), like I'm overseas.
Fly as kites on my passport. I got a show like I'm an actor.
Man I spit that crack. I got it wrapped up in a Jansport.
Man I'm in the pits like I'm sharing beds with a Rancor.
And/or the illest so I'm missing school. My homies bring in work.
I make a song, I bet you sing it first.
Man I'm on the cover like I've been accursed.
What behavior, dog? We've been the worst.
Man I'm bumping Mase like I'm up in her purse. Flop Hardly.
Bars so hot, I burn more bridges than a game of Sorry.
The kids smart like the little bro of Tamara Mowry.
Space bars like, "No wonder why my vision's starry!"
It's a party! @TheJamilShow

(I have enough heart for most of 'em.
As long as I got stuff from most of 'em, it's on.
Even when I was wrong, I got my point across.
They depicted me the boss, of course!)

Young kid, 6ft above and below the ground.
After I made the song, "YES", y'all should know me now.
I'm here to put my team up. They always hold me down.
Sick beats, bad flow, with that that holy sound.
Y'all are walking on hole-y ground. I always see you tripping.
I'm rapping Like Mike, but still I see you Pippen.
I know my cup over floweth. Hope you see me sipping.
I've always been too different.
But follow me, follow me. Hope I peak your interest, huh.
I got the beat up on its period: completed sentence, huh.
Now was that bad taste? Because I leave the beat bloody.
You're in last place. Rather steal the baton from me.
Put your made face on. I'm fire like a stogey.
These rappers aren't even spitting. Their RapGenius is emojis.
And I'm eating like I'm Choji. Watch me do my jutsu.
The Jamil Show, Young Kings, we're the new crew. Bow!

(I have enough heart for most of 'em.
As long as I got stuff from most of 'em, it's on.
Even when I was wrong, I got my point across.
They depicted me the boss, of course!)
Track Name: The Game
I'm here looking in this mirror saying that I want a change.
It's what I want.

I'm here looking out the window saying that we need a change.
It's what I want.

(Don't tell me, "listen to your song" because it isn't the same.
I don't wanna say your love is a waiting-)

Mouths full of roaches, poison in our Folgers.
It's hard being hopeful, when everybody's hopeless.
Lies on the TV, but everybody's watching.
"I don't write these stories sir I'm just tryna clock in".
The media has boxed in, all of us we're falling for.
All the trash we're taking in, it's Jesus Christ I'm calling for.
But won't nobody listen. Do you still believe news?
Do you still believe the schools, when they do not believe in you?
And all these grown men in the capital don't represent us.
And though I love my country, half our lies I can't defend 'em.
You ever thought, it's the land of the free,
But we live in a system that enslaved our minorities?
I don't want to alienate us, 'cause the issue isn't race.
The issue is keep the problems at a distance place.
The issue is we're living, but we don't purpose.
If nothing's really worth it, then does that mean we're worthless?

(Don't tell me, "listen to your song" because it isn't the same.
I don't wanna say your love is a waiting-)

Game.

(Don't tell me, "listen to your song" because it isn't the same.
I don't wanna say your love is a waiting-)
Track Name: The Fifth Floor
To who this may concern:
I'm here sitting on the fifth floor and it's 'cause I think I want to learn.
It's that, or I'm being lied on.
Like I'm getting choked by a python, I can't breathe if I can't write songs.
And I'm up in here trying to get my degree.
But have nightmares thinking this place just isn't for me.
Really I just want to see my future and my path.
I'm chasing after my dreams. Since when did they get so fast.
I'm sitting here in the Caf, breakfast and lunch: alone.
I'm supposed to be eating right.
But fruit loops and ice cream cones ain't the definition of "right".
I mean correct. Went to college five hours from my set. I don't know what to rep.
Or who to run with. I mean there's people I have fun with.
And though I love them, I doubt there's someone here for me to fall in love with.
And it's hard to think romance when everybody says you're only a man if you "get it in".
And I'm back on the fifth floor without a plan on this college trip.
I could mess around and lose my scholarship.
And that's crazy when all my hallmates get high as the voice of Mariah Carey.
No need for commentary.

(First you get a swimming pool full of liquor. Then you dive in it.)
I don't smoke or drink.
(Hand me the Drano. I might die in it.)

And it's hard to make friends when you're straight-edge.
And everybody gets "white girl wasted". Let's face it.
Just breathe. (Breathe)
Plus I hate when everyone says I'm the bees-knees [business].
But they won't tell a friend.
But they're going to tweet about it when they hear I'm celibate.
And that brings about the question: Where's your heart at?
I'm looking for a sign, but I hit the hard cap.
And that's the reason I started these letters from the fifth floor.
Track Name: The Love Will
It's been a minute since you've held it down.
It's kinda different when she ain't around.
And if she's gone, you've got to let her go.
And if she crosses your path you gotta let her know:
"We cool".
When your alone, you've got to take it slow.
You've got to take your time, you've got to let it flow and be cool.

Never lose hope.
(If the love wills: Love yourself and then the love will.)
Give up control.
(If the love wills: Love yourself and then the love will.)
Cause their love can't come close.
(If the love wills: Love yourself and then the love will.)
More than you know.
(If the love wills: Love yourself and then the love will.)

It's been a minute since he held you close.
You feel the difference when he don't come home.
And if he's gone, and he hurt you bad.
Don't let it gas you up, stop living in the past:
"You'll be fine".
If he was wrong, and he ain't even mad.
You've got to step on by, 'cause you don't need him back, alright.

Uh, uh Jamil on the beat!
Track Name: Number One
Ain't nobody messing with me, man.
God on my side got me feeling like He-Man.
The gave your boy an F when I was trying to be G, man.
I guess I'm just J, it took a second to see, man.
And I've been Jay [Jay-Z] since before he had Bey [Beyonce], man.
And it's been The Show, I'm acting like I'm conceited.
Every weapon formed against me shall be defeated.
And I ain't on the track, but yo I'm runnning with Jesus.
And I've been fresh. Take a look at the creases.
I'm still being rode like I know what the streets is.
And it's straight BARS. You can never deplete this.
There's reasons why I do it. I could give a complete list.
I do it for God, I do it for dad and mom.
I do it for everybody that stays from St. Clair to SOM.
I do it for my friends, and the one's that say this isn't their style.
'Cause I run it like I'm sprinting a mile.
End scene.

Get it, go.
I'm Number One.
Give and go.

Ain't nobody messing with me, though.
I'm out here shooting three's.
You would've thought I was Hedo [Turkoglu].
My homies got me covered.
You would've thought I was Speedo.
I got 'em acting sour 'cause the lyrics are sweet, bro.
I got 'em ducking on me 'cause the lyrics are lethal.
I never get it twisted. I'm not running with people.
I'm running with these Young Kings. Get with the sequel.
I do it for "ohana". You would've thought I was Lilo.
I get it from my mama, you can check out my steelo.
And ain't nobody stopping me. I'm in like a freethrow.
These bars stay hot like they're rapped in a peacoat.
And we know I have fun. And when that beat drops, I go dumb.
I got that bass, and I got that bump.
So, bro, what's up? I'm out here like I'm number one.

Get it, go.
I'm Number One.
Give and go.

Ride Out
Track Name: Acidic
It burns right down to the touch.
I hate just how it feels, but I'll never get enough.
I tell myself I hate you, but my mind says I'm in love.
So pray for me baby cause I know I got it rough.

Cause baby you know me. Baby, baby you know me.
Your love is so poison. I can't let it get on me.
And I'm running, baby, baby I'm running.
I don't fear the love, but I fear what I'm becoming.
(Girl, it's what I'm becoming.)

You know me. Baby, baby you know me.
Your love is so poison. I can't let it get on me.
And I'm running, baby, baby I'm running.
I don't fear the love, but I fear what I'm becoming.

It hurts every time I think about it.
(I love you) But I can't be around you.
(I hate you) But I can't live without you.
(I want to) But I can't be about it.

Cause baby you know me. Baby, baby you know me.
Your love is so poison. I can't let it get on me.
And I'm running, baby, baby I'm running.
I don't fear the love, but I fear what I'm becoming.

You know me. Baby, baby you know me.
Your love is so poison. I can't let it get on me.
And I'm running, baby, baby I'm running.
I don't fear the love, but I fear what I'm becoming.

It's poison how I'm with it. Your love is so acidic.
I know I won't forget it. I'm all up in your business.
You call, but I don't get it. I talk, but you don't listen.
A crush is all it is, but I'm crushed by something different.
You know I'll always get it, know I'm always with it.
Know I'll hold you down, but down is where I'm headed.
Know I'm in this place, but I'm last from start to finish.
You know I'll never win it, you know I'll never win it.

You know you're so acidic.
Track Name: View From Here
(Hey)
Yeah we do it alright dog.
I might fly, I might fall. I might save, I might ball.
I might call, I might not. Cold chilling, but I'm but white hot.
This life's so taxing, but I promise music is a write off.
Now let me tell you 'bout my view from here.
Let me tell you I've been looking up.
I've been counting my blessings y'all.
I'm so blessed that God hooked me up.
I'm so blessed, and I ain't even sneeze. My chill zero degrees.
I let that baggage burn, now my life OMG.
Now OMG, I'm looking 'round.
Been a heck of a trip since I was looking down.
I didn't even know my own value!
Doc' gave me Valium and I took that.
Just pop one don't look back, but now I'm good and I shook that.
God gave me the hook back!
And I'm not beat, no more. Read a verse, opened closed doors.
Got bars on my lips like a cold sore, and I can't get em off.
Grab a mic, I just spit em off. Like the last fries, they get finished off.
I smash the beat and can't get enough!

(Feeling dope, feeling great. Me, I'm cool. How're you?)
Do you like the view from here? Oh, oh!

(Hey)
Here's the secret to being cool:
There's nothing wrong with just being you.
Just make sure that you believe in you.
That's the truth, and I mean it too!
I was in the band. I got Bs in school.
But I had enough class to be in 2!
Tried my best to not be "that dude".
Got big ears and I'm bad with girls...
No time for being mad at the world!
Don't blame God 'cause I'm not perfect.
I just do me and work it, work it.
That's right I work it. work it. I'm way passed hurting, hurting.
'Cause I don't have the time or patience that's for certain, certain.
Started off a little hesitant, man I've always been hesitant.
Used to try and please those who talk. We all know they're irrelevant.
And all I have straight heaven sent. God is good and I'm the evidence.
I was sick, and I don't mean bars. Music me healed like medicine.
Now I'm feeling alright. I've been living that life.
I just got some new frames, now I'm seeing that light.
Now I'm taking my time. Making sure the flow's nice.
Staying fly like a kite. See that view I bet you get hype!

(Feeling dope, feeling great. Me, I'm cool. How're you?)
Do you like the view from here? Oh, oh!
Track Name: Get on It
Wake up in the morning with a dream.
Which doesn't make sense 'cause I just finished sleeping.
But I'm going to work like I'm really getting paid.
'Cause I'm being called to this life, but the phone bill's paid.
And I don't ever think I'm going to let up.
'Cause I've been blessed enough to even get up.
Yeah I got my crew behind me. Throw your set up.
We're some Young Kings. Flying high so pick your head up.
Somehow, I always knew that I was special.
And I didn't need my mom to ever tell me that.
Always knew that Jesus Christ loves me.
So much he took my sins and went to hell and back.
Sometimes I feel like y'all don't get me: Smelly Cat.
But my Friends showed me Season 2
Now I'm giving you the whole show.
And this right here's a special gift from me to you.

And if you're feeling down, pick it up.

Wake up in the morning trying to get it.
Rapping 'bout the Gospel, but I'm also trying to live it.
For a minute let me switch it up.
I've been looking at this bottle like, "Will I swallow?"
"Will I ever see tomorrow? Will I give it up?"
But God still got me here. Will I ever fear?
I've been praying and I know my God's forever near.
But that doesn't mean that I don't struggle.
That doesn't mean I'm never running with fears.
Covered in tears that got me seeing double.
But best believe I bounce back.
Blessings, I count that. Can't convince me Man can amount that.
Rats want to see me eating dinner just to give me vibe a splinter.
But if they swipe once, I'm going to pounce back.
So what do you know about that. Forever I'm going to sound that.
Young Kings, best believe I crown that.
So, ain't no way around that.
That's life so get on it.

And if you're feeling down, pick it up.
Track Name: Lovely
Girl, I like you. Do you like me?
It's unlikely. Girl, just try me.
Do you like me? 'Cause I like you.
And that's lovely. Girl, just love me.

The way you smile makes me want to run one hundred-something miles.
And that's wild 'cause long distance ain't my style.
But I'll make it work if you go away.
I'll wait a lifetime and I'll keep my heart stowed away.
Is that weird? I don't really know you.
But I know you got me bad, and that's something I've got to go through.
I'll tell you all my dirty little secrets, and I'll let the feelings flow through.
And if you never tell, I bet I have some things that I can show you.
And we could be the talk if all our friends.
The gossip never stops 'cause the story never ends.
I know you love God so I never have to show you how to love.
'Cause you'd love me right now and you'd love me up above.
And that's legit. The feelings that I have will never quit.
I want you in the picture. I don't want that Instagram Pic Stitch.
This song is something more than a facade.
'Cause I'll never give you something that I'm not.
And now I'm saying...

Girl, I like you. Do you like me?
It's unlikely. Girl, just try me.
Do you like me? 'Cause I like you.
And that's lovely. Girl, just love me.

When you look me in the eyes, it makes me lose my mind a thousand times.
Jump extra high and write your name up in the sky.
Did I mention yesterday that you were looking extra fly?
You make me want to change your last name to mine.
And what's your fragrance? Is that pine?
Oh it's just shampoo. Lunch date, is that cool?
You can come, but you really don't have to.
But you knew that.
Sweater weather cuddle dates, I do that.
So baby if you need me Ja Rule that:

'Cause I'm always there when you call.
Mostly on time. Gave you my all.
So baby be mine. And baby I ain't lying.

That's the truth, boo. I do me, do you.
Don't worry about them other dudes.
I do not care what they do.
Just put me on your calendar.
I guarantee your girls will say, "Jamil's the perfect man for her."
And that's why I'm saying.

Girl, I like you. Do you like me?
It's unlikely. Girl, just try me.
Do you like me? 'Cause I like you.
And that's lovely. Girl, just love me.
Track Name: Understand Me
I'd like to declare my major, I'm majoring in being broke.
These lyrics are dope, but I'm tested with individuals,
With Pre-Med dreams from cities with mad residuals.
Praying on my scholarship like, "God I need a miracle!"
And why'd we set it up where the more we have the more we go?
If daddy isn't flossing, I might end up on that Maury show.
And that's if he's present. Lash out on my brethren, carrying these resentments.
Plus they ask for I.D. every time I leave to exit. So purchase this.
Y'all think we're kids with dreams of CEO of Murda Biz.
"I seen his hair, he's probably robbing shops and hitting spliffs.
Or kicking it with kids who kick the can because of color differences.
Don't leave your kids with him!"
I'll let you overlook my actions. My gosh, society on some bull: John Paxon,
Truth be told, everybody has a passion.
But I'm told to pass 'cause ain't no grown men rapping so I'm like.

They don't understand me.
I'm just out here trying to be everything I can be.
But everybody's in my face acting all fancy.
So when you wonder why you ain't up on my level don't ask me!

Y'all don't really get me. At the same time I'm breathing, I feel like I'm 6ft. deep.
I'm not trying to be in offices at 50.
Talking 'bout "I hate my life", and drowning out my kidneys.
I guess I just don't know what I want. I don't know what I want.
All I know is 'stunt', 'Get Money', and 'roll blunts'.
All I know is 'don't raise babies' and 'hold ups'.
All I know is I don't really think the future's fun.
They tell me pick my future now, but be in bed by 1.
They tell me up my body count, but never fall in love.
They tell me 'son these rappers', but rappers don't father sons.
All I know is I don't think these numbers measure up.
And it's sick, 'cause I think I'm legit.
And I ain't no magician, but I know I run this trick.
And I don't go to school 'cause they treat me like a fool.
And they never understand that this music is my tool.

They don't understand me.
I'm just out here trying to be everything I can be.
But everybody's in my face acting all fancy.
So when you wonder why you ain't up on my level don't ask me!
Track Name: Turn Off the Light Remix x Fanaticus
[Jamil:]

Bring that beat down.

Gone. And it's ard to deal with the sadness.
When all I see is blackness, I'm like "How the heck did this happen?"
Outcome of the madness. When did we get this backwards?
All I hear is "he said" and "she said". They don't know what we said.
But they think that they did. I hate this.
How dod you feel so blameless?
You blame that, blame this, you blame me.
But who are you lately? Just maybe I'm crazy.
I'm more than the baby you claim me to be.
I might be crazy to you, but I'm not crazy to me.
I'm not always right, but I'm not always wrong.
And you're not always like the person you claim at the end of the night.
When the light starts to dim, please don't tun off the light.

Don't turn off the light.
'Cause I'll be gone tonight.

I don't need a night-light. My heart's dark like nighttime.
How do you not see me? Like Stevie [Wonder], no eyesight.
I hi-lite what happens to review the process.
It's harder to handle, I'm ever so cautious.
And now I feel nautious. It's always the same thing.
Your eyes are ice cold, and now mine are blazing.
Enflamed from the crazy I witness and get this:
I'm done with your poison. Like acid, no citrus.
I'm on your hitlist, how can you kill me?
You talk and I feel you, but now you can't hear me?
And now I need healing. Return from my flight.
If my mind doesn't sleep, please don't turn off the light.

Don't turn off the light.
'Cause I'll be gone tonight.

[Tyrell:]

An unsupervised field, where we don't know how we feel.
Where they don't know how we feel, where you don't know how I feel.
Vice versa, unreal. We're at a place that's so concealed.
We're at a point that ain't no deal.
Can't fix what happened, so cold like steel.
In the winter, we had our summer.
Close to the time where I couldn't stomach:
The thought of losing you. I'd hope to never choose.
Now I'm thinking who need the vital truth.
And a true path, this ain't where we're at.
I won't even try if you ain't trying back.
I promise that I gave you all that I had.
Just promise me that this won't end very bad.
In fact, this time I'm going to give you just that.
So sick of the nights where I'm up so sad.
I'm going to change those times where I'm mad at you.
Being mad at me. Man, I'm such a fool.
Never lost my cool, in our verbal duels.
But i'm going to make sure you're going' be alright.
And if you ain't alright:
Then I'm gonig to take flight thru the night.
Looking for an answer for no more fights.
Just trust in me, baby trust in we.
'Cause if we ain't got trust, what can we be? (Nothing)
But don't take that negatively.
'Cause we can be better than what we used to be.
Let's clear up indescrepencies.
And make time for countless memories.
But it can't happen if you telling me fiction and unprocessed lies.
Done being nice, don't care if you mind.
I'm going to pack my bags, then fly to the sky.
I'm going to cut these ties and then I'm going to hide my skeleton key.
Then say goodbye.
'Cause I'll never let you inside of my mind again.
Even though this is the end, I'll keep my light on if you do the same.
In case our future holds a change.

[Part 2]

Please don't turn off the light.

Here's a letter that I wrote just for you baby.
When you were gone, I held my pillow tight.
Praying hard that we could work this out.
And I ain't going to say I need you, baby.
But eveything is different late at night.
And there's nobody there to hold me down.
And I don't have the heart to keep you.
I'm looking in your eyes, I don't see you.

How'd this happen? I can't deal with this no more.
How'd this happen? I don't want to have to go.
How'd this happen? I thought we would take it slow.
I can't be with you no more. There's the lightswitch by the door.

Don't turn off the light.
'Cause I'll be gone tonight.
Track Name: World Tour
('Cause this ain't no recreation, this is Pro Ball!
And we're lettin you know, y'all, at the show, y'all.
Doing this for dough, y'all.
Get the phone call and I'm ready to blow, y'all.
'Bout to go, y'all.
Been a pleasure to know y'all.)

Time to finish up the show.
Love the way we get it, but right now it's time to go.
And the waiting will pass.
But now I got finish because taking a stand is all that I've been living.
And I got to go school. Got to get my grades up.
Just do what it do. I'm dodging all this shade, bruh.
Throw it up for Jesus, man it feels amazing.
Man I beat the beat up 'til the day my day's in, and I'm screaming...

Put ya hands up, put ya, put ya hands up. (For the Modern MC)
They want more: Who we do it for.
Man we're 'bout do it like we're on a world tour.

I'm on Award Tour with Mana my man.
After each and every show, we got the clique in the back.
I'm repping Young Kings. My crew is sick as a rat.
Don't compare to anybody 'cause we're sicker than that.
Got you sitting sideways like a crick in the back.
I can't sing! My bars are wiggity-wack!
But God got me, so I'm bigger than that.
On point like a needle, when you're getting a tat' [tattoo].
Season 2, got me checking the stats.
But overall, the show is bigger than that.
It's a life commentary, 'cause all of those vary.
But when we see the similarities, it's kind of scary.
So take a look into my lifestyle.
'Cause I don't freestyle, I just write down.
This is real life. This is right now.
And I'm saying...

Put ya hands up, put ya, put ya hands up. (For the Modern MC)
They want more: Who we do it for.
Man we're 'bout do it like we're on a world tour.
